Rashid says Imran doesn't contest election, he spoils it; Imran wants to wrestle his way to victory
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has on Tuesday said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan abuses Metro Bus project. “Why would Lahoris vote for him then?” questioned Rashid. He said that Imran Khan doesn’t contest the election, he spoils it. He said that the PTI Chairman wants to wrestle his way to the victory instead of getting elected, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media at a local hotel on the 4-day carpet exhibition in Lahore, Pervaiz Rashid criticized Imran Khan as usual. He said that Imran Khan had been allotted the electoral sign of ‘lamp’ in 1996 that went dark after getting 1700 votes only.
“Why would Lahoris vote for Imran Khan? Sharif brothers gifted the metro bus to the residents of Lahore and Imran Khan keeps abusing the same”, said Rashid.
Rashid said that although all the PTI workers from Peshawar to Gwadar gathered at Samanabad Doongi Ground, the ‘Tiger’ (electoral sign of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz) will still emerge victorious in NA-122.
