Reham's son speaks up in mother's favor against father's claims
In his blog, titled Veritas, Sahir said he was never misinformed, his father actually abused them
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Refuting his biological father Ijaz ur Rehman’s claims, Reham Khan’s son Sahir has finally spoken up in his mother’s favor. In his blog, titled Veritas, Sahir said that his father had lied in his interview to a foreign newspaper that he never used violence against Reham and the children were misinformed about their relations and thus intoxicated by Reham into believing that their father resorted to violence against their mother.
In his blog, Sahir says that domestic violence is very difficult to prove yet it doesn’t mean that since an incident wasn’t reported, it didn’t take place at all. He said that police once entered their house and he claimed to possess evidence to support his claim that Ijaz used violence against his mother. Sahir goes on to say that there is only one reason that Dr. Ijaz ur Rehman has no criminal record and that is that Reham didn’t want to destroy his career.
Sahir even uploaded the court orders against his biological father. The documents show that District Judge at Kingston-Upon-Hill County Court had ordered Dr. Ijaz ur Rehman to stay away from the kids and their mother. He ordered that “Mr. Ijaz ur Rehman shall not obstruct, harass or interfere with the applicant Mrs. Reham Rehman’s peaceful occupation of The Willows, South Street, North Kelsey”. The judge also forbade Dr. Ijaz ur Rehman, according to this document, to enter The Willows and even go within 100 meters of the premises. The court also ordered that “Mr. Ijaz Ur Rehman is forbidden to use or threaten violence against the relevant children”.

Sahir went on to explain how his mother worked two jobs to bring up her children and said that his mother had never let him down. He also answered all the allegations that Dr. Ijaz ur Rehman had leveled against Reham and said that he wasn’t surprised Dr. Ijaz had appeared personally to make his ‘claim to fame’.
“My mother and I are a team. Along with my sisters, we’ve formed an unassailable unit”, said Sahir. He added that his mother is a fighter and such news cannot break them.
Snubbing “those still bitter about the marriage”, Sahir said that nobody has a right to get a say in anyone’s personal life. He said that he wanted to keep quiet but it had become impossible now to keep it that way. He said that Dr. Rehman’s claim that the children were misinformed was completely baseless. “She is my biggest inspiration and will always be”, he concluded.
