Judicial allowance case: LHC halts action against Punjab govt until SC's verdict
The government's attorney informed the court that the SC has annulled LHC's verdict in the matter
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday has delayed contempt of court action against Chief Secretary regarding halt to provision of judicial allowance to employees until Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan’s verdict.
The petitioner’s counsel said that despite court orders, judicial employees are deprived of allowance. He requested the court to serve contempt of court notice to the Chief Secretary.
The government’s attorney informed the court that the SC has annulled LHC’s verdict in the matter.
