We have forgiven but not forgotten Imran Khan's 'crimes': Pervaiz Rashid
Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan took to streets to attack Islamabad
HARIPUR (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday said that they have forgiven but not forgotten Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s ‘crimes’ and asked the participants to ‘take revenge’ by voting for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on August 16, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the election rally for Haripur’s NA 19 seat, Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan took to streets to attack Islamabad. He said Khan wanted to burn the parliament down last year but is campaigning to get his candidate elected for the same parliament.
The federal minister said that only Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif can rid the country of darkness of electricity load shedding. He said there will be Metrobus service everywhere.
Pervaiz Rashid said the government opened all constituencies instead of four upon insistence from the ‘protest politicians’ but it ‘exposed’ Imran Khan.
There will be lions (PML-N’s election symbol) in every ballot box on August 16 as well, he said.
The federal minister said that cheap electricity will enable enhanced industrial sector and will increase employment. He said Pakistan will move towards development and progress with building of the roads.
