By-election campaign to end tonight at 12am in KP

Candidates will be competing for 41 thousand 762 seats

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The campaign of by-election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will end at 12am tonight. 84 thousand, 420 candidates will be competing in the by-election on 30th of May in KP. The candidates are actively campaigning for the by-election on the last day to attract more than 10 million, 41 lac voters of KP.

According to the figures issued by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the candidates will be competing for 41 thousand 762 seats. 5 thousand 480 candidates are competing for district councilers from 978 wards of the province while 5 thousand 907 candidates are competing for Tehsil and town councils. For 3 thousand 339 seats of village councilors, 15 thousand 700 candidates are competing.
There will be 11 thousand 211 polling stations in the province working on election day with strict security measures by the police.
