Religious groups to organize pro-Saudi Arabia 'Youm-e-Tahaffuz Harmain Sharifain'
JuD, PUC, TSMP, TAS are some of the groups to lead rallies
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Various religious groups in the country are observing Youm-e-Tahaffuz Harmain Sharifain, literally ‘protection of sacred sites day’, to pledge unconditional support to Saudi Arabia in Yemen conflict.
According to details, Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) will lead a pro-Saudi Arabia rally from Chouburji area in Lahore whereas Pakistan Ulema Council will lead a demonstration outside Jallo Morr Neher Wali mosque.
The Tehreek-e-Sirat-e-Mustaqeem Pakistan and Tanzimaat Ahle Sunnat will lead Friday prayers on the topic of ‘protection of the sacred sites.’
Meanwhile, Sunni Tehreek has also announced country-wide ‘day of Muslims’ unity’ and has vowed to lead Friday prayers on this subject in their mosques.
