Imran Khan visits Army Public School in Peshawar

Strict security measures were ensured; provincial minister was let inside building after checking.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan reached Peshawar on Monday to visit Army Public School and school’s martyr principal Saeeda Qazi’s residence for Fateha.

People gathered around Khan as he reached the school and expressed their grief. Pak army briefed him about the Peshawar attack. PTI chairman also examined the school building.

Strict security measures were taken at Khan’s arrival; provincial minister Ali Ameen Gandapur was let inside the building after checking.

After visiting the school, Imran Khan went to visit bereaved family of Saeeda Qazi who was the principal of the school and expressed his condolences and recited Fateha.

PTI chairman was accompanied by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khatak. Imran Khan will hold separate meetings with PTI and coalition partners MPAs at the Chief Minister House. He will also hold a press conference along with Pervez Khattak.

It will be Imran Khan’s first visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after formation of PTI government in the province.
