Imran Khan should think before he speaks: Pervaiz Rashid
PTI Chairman should weigh his words so that he doesnt have to take U-turn later, said Info Minister
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan should think before he speaks so that he doesn’t have to take a U-turn later. He said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan did not have the authority to open any constituencies for voters’ verification.
Responding to Imran Khan’s speech on Monday, Pervaiz Rashid said that PTI was suspecting its own MNAs. “PTI is suspecting the same people of being sold who it had awarded party tickets”, he said. Rashid said that by doubting his own MNAs, Imran has proved that he is a cynic. He advised Imran Khan to think before speaking so that he didn’t have to take a U-turn later.
“Imran Khan may consult any lawyer that he’d like to. PM does not have the authority to open the constituencies. This authority lies with the election tribunals only”, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader said.
Pervaiz Rashid challenged Imran Khan to leave politics if he was proven wrong about his rigging allegations. “Will Imran Khan quit politics and rid the people of Pakistan from this mental torture if his rigging allegations proved wrong”, questioned Pervaiz Rashid.
