CNG stations remain shut in KP, Rawalpindi, Karachi
Owners have shut down CNG stations in KP, Rawalpindi, Karachi in protest against SC Oct 25 verdict.
Most of the CNG stations in Rawalpindi also remained closed on Sunday after scheduled three days closure.
Long queues of vehicles were seen on those CNG stations which were opened on Sunday after three days closure. People faced great hardship in getting gas for their vehicles.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), more than 600 CNG were shut down in protest against SC decision to slash CNG prices. All 120 CNG stations were shut down after 12:00midnight.
In Karachi too, owners started closure of CNG stations well before 12:00midnight. The CNG station owners are of the view that it is not possible to sell CNG at the prices fixed the Supreme Court on October 25.
