Indian interior ministry dismisses Pakistan-India series possibility

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Indian interior ministry has dismissed the possibility of Pakistan-India series, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.

According to details, Indian government has said that the series is not possible in current circumstances owing to the tension between both countries.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan said that India always creates obstacles in cricket between both countries by bringing political conditions in it.

Pakistan one-day international (ODI) and Twenty20 (T20) captain Sarfraz Ahmed also responded to the situation and said India is afraid of playing against Pakistan.

Sarfraz said that he enjoys to play against the arch-rival, and Pakistan always took the first step to restore cricket between both countries but never got positive response from India.


BCCI writes letter to govt to play series with Pakistan


Earlier, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ployed to escape from fine after PCB’s warning by writing a letter to Indian government to play series against Pakistan.

According to Indian media, their board was ready to play series against Pakistan in November this year, and it required its government’s permission for that.
