PSL final to open doors for international cricket in Pakistan: Shahryar Khan

Quetta Gladiators' Luke Wright and Rilee Rossouw are willing to come to Lahore for the final.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan talked to media Tuesday after inaugurating Gaddafi Stadium’s Pavilion End and College End along with Najam Sethi, and said Pakistan Super League (PSL) final will open doors for international cricket in Pakistan.

Shahryar Khan also praised Najam Sethi and said his efforts to bring cricket back to Pakistan finally bore fruit and this event will unite the whole nation breaking boundaries of the rich and the poor.

PSL Chief Najam Sethi said eight foreign players will come to play PSL final at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

According to details, Quetta Gladiators’ Luke Wright and Rilee Rossouw are willing to come to Lahore for the final. Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi has also announced that whole squad of Peshawar will play the final in Lahore if his team qualify. Zalmi are led by the West Indian all-rounder Darren Sammy. West Indian players Andre Fletcher and Marlon Samuels are also playing in Sammy XI.

Najam Sethi also proclaimed that nobody will be allowed to enter the stadium without Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) whether he owns a ticket of Rs 500 or Rs 12000.
