Bullet-riddled body of youth recovered in India-held Kashmir

SRINAGAR (Dunya News) - A bullet-riddled body of a Kashmiri youth was found in Kulgam district of south Kashmir on Friday.
Shamim Ahmad Patloo was missing since October 19 after he was picked up by unidentified gunmen from his house.
His body was found in the fields at Kujjar Frisal Yaripora this morning.
Meanwhile, complete shutdown continues on 105th successive day, today, to protest against the civilian killings and other brutalities by Indian forces in the occupied Kashmir Valley.
The puppet authorities have imposed curfew and other restrictions in all major towns to prevent marches towards the residences of members of the so-called Legislative Assembly (MLAs) across the territory.
Call for the three-day march has been given by the joint resistance leadership comprising the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, and Hurriyet leaders, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
The leadership has said that the MLAs were collaborators of India and were providing a civilian mask to a brutal Indian military occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
On the other hand, three Kashmiri youth have also been illegally arrested after Indian police and army raided various residences in Baramulla.
At least 9000 Kashmiris have been detained during the three-month crackdown.
Moreover, the authorities have dismissed more than one dozen employees from their services on participating in pro-freedom rallies.
The uprising that was triggered by the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani by Indian forces on July 8 has left more than 110 people dead and several thousand injured, so far.
More than 800 people have sustained pellet injuries in their eyes with majority of them on the verge of losing eyesight partially or fully.
