Indian tweeps show solidarity with Pakistan after Peshawar Attack
While #PeshawarAttack trended worldwide, Indians trended touchy #IndiaWithPakistan for solidarity
LAHORE: (Web Desk) - As the cowardly Taliban attack on a Peshawar school on Monday took away more than 130 lives shocked the world, it was heart-touching to see people pledging support to Pakistan from the other side of the border. While #PeshawarAttack was trending on top throughout the world on Twitter, Indian tweeps trended a touchy hashtag of #IndiaWithPakistan to show solidarity with Pakistanis in this hour of grief.
Indian celebrities condemned the attack in harshest of words but it was Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who took the lead by pledging all out support and unconditional condemnation for Pakistan after the news of the attack broke first.
It is a senseless act of unspeakable brutality that has claimed lives of the most innocent of human beings - young children in their school.
