The boy Selamat Riayadi fell in love with the elderly woman Rohaya.
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – A 16-year-old boy and a 71-year-old woman tied knot in Indonesia while going against the wishes of their families.
The boy Selamat Riayadi fell in love with the elderly woman Rohaya but it wasn’t one sided as she also had feelings for her.
Families of both groom and bride were not in favour of the marriage but had to surrender to the couple when they threatened to kill themselves if anyone tried to become a hurdle.
The video of their marriage also went viral on social media.
The minimum age for a couple to marry in Indonesia is 19 years however; the people are allowed to marry at a younger age in accordance with religious aspect.
