The all-new flagship phone from Apple couldn't handle the drop tests as neat as expected

(Web Desk) – Apple’s new flagship phone received several scratches when dropped while facing both front and back sides from pocket-height though everything worked fine in the banged up model.

According to the drop tests done by CNET, several fracture occurred when iPhone X hit back first. Three of the four corners of the smartphone were cracked immediately. The damage was visible considering a phone that costs over USD 1,000. The phone comes with a stainless steel frame and a glass back that are prone to suffer from scratches in day to day use.

The drop tests for iPhone X:

As far as the glass screen is concerned, iPhone X users should be very careful in protecting the front side as it can be seriously damaged. The cost of such breaking may be really expensive in the start till the phone markets have abundant spare parts. In the front facing drop test, circular and hairline fractures occurred.

Experts suggested that iPhone X users should immediately buy an appropriate case to avoid such damage. Although it is durable, no smartphone is indestructible. Even one bad drop for Apple’s new flagship model could be enough to cause deep scratches.
