Internet service disrupted in Pakistan
PTCL assured customers that they will restore internet connectivity through alternative sources
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Internet services remain limited in different areas of the country following the breakdown in cable wire near Jeddah.
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) spokesperson assured on Saturday that they are trying their best to restore the internet through alternative means. PTCL General Manager Imran Janjua said the fault in Jeddah cable occurred last night and disturbed internet connectivity throughout the country.
He told that international engineers are trying their best to resolve the issue and it is expected that internet services will be completely restored by Sunday.
The submarine cable fault breakdown during Friday night caused worries for internet users all around the country. Several service providers have apologised to their customers after insufficient connectivity.
