World Snooker: Muhammad Sajjad loses title to Yan Bingtao
Bingtao becomes youngest champion after 17-year-old Belgian, Luca Brecel
LAHORE (Dunya News) – National snooker player Muhammad Sajjad on Saturday was defeated by 14-year-old Chinese player Yan Bingtao in the final of World Amateur Snooker Championship in Bangalore, India.
Bingtao has become the youngest snooker player to bag this title at the age of 14.
Sajjad performed exceptionally well at the start of the game but Bingtao leveled the match with 7-7 frames.
Later, Bingtao got the title to his name with an advantage of as many as eight frames against Sajjad’s seven.
Before Bingtao, a Belgian player Luca Brecel had the title of youngest champion at an age of 17.
