Danish striker Cornelius to join Cardiff City
EPL League newcomer Cardiff has signed FC Copenhagen top-scorer Andreas Cornelius
CARDIFF (AP) - The 20-year-old Cornelius scored 18 times last season in the Danish league, enabling Copenhagen to win the championship for the 10th time. Cornelius has also played seven times for Denmark and scored once.
Copenhagen said on Thursday it expected the sale would bring 65 million kroner ($11.4 million). However, it was unclear whether that was the price tag for Cornelius.
Copenhagen said it expected Cornelius medical check to be a formality.
