State Minister for Housing Barrister Raza Hayat Hiraj resigned.

Hiraj submitted resignation to the president assigning reason for tendering it that the federal government did not fulfill its promise to make South Punjab a provine.According to sources, Hiraj sent its resignation to President Asif Ali Zardari on August 4, stating that the PML-Q had no need of him, therefore he is quitting the office. He further said that the PPP had promised of accountability but nothing had been done. The PML-Q leadership has stopped Hiraj to issue any statement.Barrister Raza Hayat Hiraj served as MoS for Law and Justice in Shaukat Aziz government.
