Saleem Shehzad murder: Leyyah court remands accused to special unit

The accused of Saleem Shehzads murder has been handed over to Islamabad High-Profile Crime Unit.

The unit got the custody of Leyyah’s Khadim Hussain, 30, on a local courts orders. The unit had requested for the custody of the accused on remand, which the court granted for a day.Islamabad police had arrested Khadim Hussain in a crackdown at his house without informing the district police. Islamabad police tracked him through his mobile sim. The police said at the time of his arrest that Khadim was involved in the killing of Saleem and had made threatening calls to Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
