Defense Minister witnesses Kavkaz military exercise in Russia
India withdrew from the exercise at the last moment.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Defense Minister of Pakistan Pervaiz Khattak along with Chief of Logistics Staff Lieutenant General Azhar Saleh Abbasi witnessed the multinational Kavkaz military exercises in Russia and also met with Pakistani and Chinese military personnel.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, multinational military exercises 2020 were held in the Russian city of Astrakhan. Director General ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar earlier said Kavkaz 2020 exercise is aimed at assessing ability of troops to react to various challenges and learn from each other’s experiences.
Troops from Russia, Belarus and other countries took part in the exercises, which ended yesterday. India withdrew from the exercises due to lack of technical training.
