Two more ministers to be sworn into KP cabinet

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has decided to expand the KP cabinet with two more ministers being sworn in on Thursday.

According to sources, former provincial minister Shahram Khan Tarakai is being reinstated in the cabinet while Anwar Zeb, a member of the provincial assembly from Bajaur, is also being made a minister.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held on Thursday at noon. Anwar Zeb, an MP from tribal district Bajaur, will take oath in the provincial cabinet for the first time while this will be Shahram Khan Tarakai’s third time in the cabinet.

Anwar Zeb will be the second provincial minister from the tribal districts, he was elected on PTI’s ticket from PK-100 Bajaur in the 2019 elections of the newly merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

It may be recalled that Shahram Khan Tarakai, Atif Khan and Shakeel Ahmed were removed from their posts due to differences with CM Mahmood Khan. However, all issues were settled in a meeting between Governor Shah Farman, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Shahram Khan after which he is being reinducted in the cabinet.
