ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Super blue blood moon will light up the sky in Pakistan today (Wednesday).

The moon rising tonight will be 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter, a rare phenomena that will be seen in different countries around the world, including Pakistan.

During the eclipse, the moon will glide into Earth s shadow, gradually turning the white disk of light to orange or red. The super blood blue moon will appear at 6:12pm in Karachi, and at 5:32pm in Islamabad.

Chief of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that it is going to be a historical moment because it is a coincidence when blue moon, red moon and full lunar eclipse will take place at the same time and on the same date which was last time seen in 1866.
