NAB team has taken the stance that if Sharif family did not receive the notices, then how did their counsels appear before NAB? According to the accountability bureau, it has documented record that the notices were received, and Sharif family cannot deny that.

Furthermore, NAB Rawalpindi will not take Saturday (today) and Sunday off to prepare references against Sharif family, and also inspect Volume 10 of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report.

It has been learnt that NAB Rawalpindi will also devise future strategy and will not visit Lahore, as it has to complete its work in the given time.

It is worth mentioning here that the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his sons Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz were on Friday summoned by NAB to appear in Lahore office to record their statements in Azizia Steel Mills case.

Let it be known that on July 28, a five judge larger bench of the Supreme Court while disqualifying Nawaz Sharif under Article 62(1)( f) of the Constitution had asked NAB to file four references in the Rawalpindi accountability court within six weeks on the basis of the material collected and referred to by the JIT as well as that already available with the Federal Investigation Agency and NAB.
