PTI MNA, MPA released on bail after being arrested for ransacking PESCO office

The levies personnel took both PTI leaders into custody on Saturday

MALAKAND (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Junaid Akbar Khan and Adviser to the Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Shakeel Khan, who were detained on charges of ransacking the PESCO Office, were released on bail on Sunday.

Meanwhile, some other people who were arrested along with the PTI lawmakers for ransacking the public office were also released on bail.

PESCO authorities alleged that PTI MNA Junaid Akbar Khan and MPA Shakeel Khan were leading protesters while they stormed into the grid station and set ablaze the office furniture and records during the protest against load-shedding in Batkhela.

The levies personnel took both PTI leaders into custody and were subsequently released on bail after being detained for 24 hours.
