Objective behind Afghanistan visit restoration of ties: Ayaz Sadiq
There exists a desire on part of both Pakistan and Afghanistan to improve their relations
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that the objective behind visit to Afghanistan was restoration of bilateral ties, reported Dunya News on Monday.
He let it be known while talking to media in Islamabad after his return from Afghanistan.
Ayaz Sadiq expressed that there exists a desire on part of both Pakistan and Afghanistan to improve their relations as he termed the visit as very successful.
Speaker of the National Assembly revealed that the talks with Afghan leadership were very positive besides the visit of parliamentary delegation was aimed at reviving contacts between the two neighbours.
Ayaz Sadiq expressed at the occasion that peace, security and prosperity of both the countries are interlinked.
He let it be known that the high-level exchanges between the two countries will continue in future as well so as to promote better understanding of each other s issues.
Ayaz Saadiq revealed that there was representation of all provinces and that the parliamentary parties and both sides discussed them in detail.
Speaker of the National Assembly also expressed that the government of Afghanistan cordially welcomed the delegation during the visit.
