Heavy rain drenches different areas in Peshawar
More rain has been expected in Peshawar in coming days.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Heavy rain in Peshawar has badly inundated different localities in the metropolis, reported on Tuesday.
According to details, a few-minute heavy downpour in Peshawar has disrupted daily routine of the locals whereas it has also swept away mud houses.
The important places including provincial assembly have turned into lake which badly affected flow of traffic.
No water sewerage system was witnessed in the areas of Gulbahar, Hashtnagri, Lahori, G.T Road, Fakeerabad and University Road.
The residents are facing severe problems in transportation on the roads while the local administration has also started drainage process in some areas.
On the other hand, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower is expected at isolated places in Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur divisions), KP (Peshawar, Hazara, Mardan, Kohat divisions), Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir.
Light rain is also expected along Sindh-Makran coast.
