Issuance of prohibited weaponry licenses surfaced despite ban
On June 2, 2015, allowed weapon's license was issued to PM Nawaz: Report
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Despite imposed ban by Interior Ministry on allowed and prohibited weaponry license issuance, many licenses have been issued in the name of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, President Mamnoon Hussain’s son, Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani and Muhammad Saqib Jillani, reported Dunya News.
The ministry presented the details of issuance before Senate which further revealed that one license was issued to PM Nawaz and three to President’s son despite an official ban.
On June 2, 2015, allowed weapon’s license was issued to PM Nawaz while other three allowed licenses were issued to President’s son Salman Hussain on June 16, 2015.
Two allowed and one prohibited license were issued to Justice Usmani.
