Pervez Rashid meets Iranian Ambassador, discusses matters of mutual interest

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervez Rashid on Tuesday met Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Hunar Dost and discussed matters of interest regarding cooperation in media and cultural fields, reported Dunya News.
Rashid said that collaboration in the field of media would enhance bilateral relations between both the countries as media could play a key role for promotion in public communications.
He also said that media can also be supportive in creating harmony and redress misconceptions.
Media industry of both the countries should learn from each other’s experiences, he added. Media outlets of Pakistan and Iran required the exchange of delegations for better understanding between both the countries, Rashid said.
