Karachi: 8 more killed in fresh incidents

At least 8 more people, including 2 from political and religious parties, have been killed in fresh incidents of violence in different parts of Karachi. On the other hand Muttahida Quami Movements (MQMs) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that he has never asked for a selective operation against any particular faction, group, party or area. In a telephonic address in Karachi, Altaf Hussain said that MQM has always demanded stern action against different mafias in Karachi, including the drug mafia, illegal weapon mafia, dacoits mafia, kidnappers mafia, etc regardless of their political, religious, cultural or ethnic affiliations. Altaf Hussain was of the view that MQM is not against any particular party, nationality, culture or ethnicity. He said that the recent killings in Karachi were organized to develop anti-MQM sentiments in the 98% underprivileged and deprived masses of the country.
