Lahore: Doctors torture Dunya News reporter at Jinnah Hospital
The newsman went to hospital to cover current health condition of Lahore park blast victims.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Infuriated young doctors on Wednesday subjected a Dunya News reporter to physical torture at Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital.
According to details, reporter Ghufran Chughtai visited the hospital to cover the current health condition of victims who sustained severe injuries in Lahore park blast that took place on March 27.
He said that he went inside the emergency where a lady doctor barred him from shooting any video on mobile. Later, the doctor called on other staffers who brutally thrashed him in the presence of their senior medical practitioners.
“About 10 to 12 people took me to a room and tried to snatch my mobile phone while assaulting me”, told Dunya News reporter.
The newsman said he assured that he has not recorded anything but the enraged paramedical staff continued beating him after an exchange of harsh words.
