COAS spent whole day with Pak Army contingent deployed under UN flag in Ivory Coast.

RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has on Friday said that Pakistan is proud of its historic role in the world peace. He arrived in African country Ivory Coast today and spent all his day with Pakistani soldiers in the United Nations (UN) peace mission, reported Dunya News.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department of Pakistan army, General Raheel Sharif arrived in Ivory Coast today where Pak army’s team is deployed in UN peace mission. Army chief spent all his day with the soldiers there.

Army chief paid rich tribute to the officials and soldiers for their services. He said that Pakistan sends largest number of men to UN peace missions. He told that Pakistani soldiers are deployed in 6 countries for peace. He said that he was proud for the historic role Pakistan army had played for world peace.
