Donkey's fat, skin used in cosmetic products, women concerned
Several consumers have demanded the Sindh govt to launch a crackdown against culprits
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Consumers are deeply concerned after the reports of usage of donkey’s fat and skin in cosmetic products hit the news. A large number of women in Karachi even resolved not to buy any more products until situation becomes clear, Dunya News reported.
Consumers of cosmetic products, particularly women, are extremely possessive and worried about their skin after the startling revelation that cosmetic products produced in Punjab may carry skin and fat from donkeys.
Several consumers have demanded the Sindh government to launch a crackdown against the manufacturers of the substandard cosmetic products.
