Maps of important installations, images, other material found; agent has traveled 20 times to India

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – An agent of Indian intelligence agency RAW has on Tuesday been arrested from a village in Wagha, Lahore. The suspect is an officer in Punjab police. Maps and images of important installations along with other material were found from the suspected agent. He has traveled 20 times to India in the past, reported Dunya News.

According to police sources, the real name of the suspect is Muhammad Ilyas while his secret name is Pervez. The suspect confessed during the initial investigation that RAW agents have been running their network in Pakistan through mobile SIMs while other groups are also active in Punjab.

Police sources told that the agent is aged around 35 and has illegally traveled to India for 20 times. He has been shifted to an unknown place for investigation.

On the other hand, Rawalpindi police arrested 2 Indian citizens who were living in a hotel without informing the police. The suspects Ashraf and Rafique Vaani have been shifted to unknown place for investigation. Police also arrested the hotel managed and registered a case.
