SC dismisses petition filed against re-polling in PK-93

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Monday has dismissed plea seeking to halt by-election in PK-93 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Dunya News reported.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Saqib Nisar heard the case during which advocate Akram Sheikh pleaded to stop re-polling in lower Dir constituency until the verdict of court as Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disqualified his client Bahram Khan.

Subsequently, the court has adjourned the hearing till August 17.
