Will be bloodshed in Karachi if Rangers leave: Pir Pagara
Some people were calling army, Rangers to Karachi and now the Rangers to go back, says PML-F chief
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) chief, and spiritual leader of the Hurrs, Pir Pagara on Sunday said that there will be bloodshed in Karachi if Rangers left. He said that some people were calling army and Rangers to Karachi a few months ago and now the same people are asking them to leave Karachi, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media at an Iftar party at his residence Kangri House in the honor of various political and religious leaders, PML-F leader said that Sindh government is being run by force. He said that Rangers did well to bring down crimes in the city. He said that it was important for the Rangers to stay in Karachi.
Pir Pagara said that army is the symbol of federation. He said that various political leaders opposed sending the Rangers back. “Operation has ensured peace in Karachi and should continue”, he said.
Talking about the national politics, Pir Pagara said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif focused Islamabad and Punjab only and that is why the Sindhis felt neglected. He said that PPP has been wiped out from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Balochistan.
