Karachi: Tension prevails in Shanti Nagar

The police have launched an operation against two drug clans in the area of Shanti Nagar. Fear and panic gripped the area as exchange of firing is being held between the law enforcement agencies and the gangsters.Heavy contingents of Police and Rangers have cordoned off the Dalmia area. Gunshots could be heard at regular intervals from the area. Businesses and shops in the area have been closed. According to Police, a major offensive will be launched against drug dealers across the city.
