Sharjeel Memon says Nabil Gabol constantly contacting to rejoin PPP
He said PPP hasn't decided on Gabol's request yet
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Minister for Local Government Sharjeel Memon on Friday said claimed that MQM’s dissident leader Nabil Gabol has been constantly contacting to rejoin Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), saying that party hasn’t decided on this yet. He said half of entire Karachi’s force was deployed for PTI chief Imran Khan’s security.
According to details, Memon held a press conference to brief the press about various leaders desiring to join PPP. He said various local leaders of Shaheed Bhutto Group, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Awami National Party (ANP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pasban parties have announced to join PPP.
He said Nabil Gabol is making contacts to join PPP; however, party hasn’t decided on it yet.
Sharjeel Memon said that illegally constructed wedding halls are being demolished without any discrimination and that as many as 70 wedding halls have been demolished by now.
He said he received phone calls of several PPP leaders over demolition of a PPP leader’s wedding hall.
Sindh Minister said that fewer votes compared to previous time will be cast this time in NA 246 by-poll. He said half of Karachi’s force was deployed to provide security to Imran Khan.
He said PPP will hold a major rally in Lyari area to campaign for the Local Body elections.
