Altaf Hussain tells workers to refrain from fighting
Rivals' propaganda will be crushed through the power of vote, he said
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday said asked his party workers and supporters not to indulge in any act that could lead to fighting and violence, Dunya News reported.
In a statement, MQM chief said that rivals’ propaganda will be crushed through the power of vote and therefore, he said, there is no need to indulge in any act that could potentially lead to fighting and violence.
It is pertinent to mention here that PTI chairman Imran Khan is visiting Karachi to participate in the election campaign of NA 246 constituency which has long been regarded as one of MQM’s strongholds.
The recent scuffles between both sides have increased the risk of clashes during Khan’s visit.
