Army Chief meets PM Nawaz in Islamabad
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was also present on the occasion.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif met with Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif today (Thursday) in Islamabad, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, views were exchanged on the professional matters of army whereas overall security situation of the country and Operation Zarb-e-Azb was also discussed during the meeting.
Moreover, both the leaders also discussed the return of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP’s) of operation Zarb-e-Azb to their homes and considered to enhance the security of western border by deploying additional wings of Frontier Corps (FC).
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was also present on the occasion.
