Situation in Karachi has improved due to ongoing operation: PM
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was speaking to the MNAs in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that situation in Karachi has improved due to ongoing targeted action across the city, Dunya News reported.
Talking to MNAs in Islamabad, the Prime Minister reiterated that operation in the metropolis was launched after taking all the parties onboard after which there is reduction in incidents of kidnapping for ransom, extortion and target killings.
No one has the right to keep illegal weapons, he added.
Nawaz Sharif said that flaws happened in the last few decades cannot be corrected immediately however it is government’s top priority to stabilize the economic hub of Pakistan.
He said that PML-N leadership always takes other political parties into confidence on national affairs which is a sign of strengthening democracy.
The Prime Minister vows to overcome all the challenges before next general elections.
