Pervez Rashid urges Khan to identify person who offered him Rs 15crore
Khan is responsible for turning politics into a business, says Information minister
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervez Rashid on Tuesday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan is habitual of blaming people of wrongdoings without evidence. He said that Khan has made the candidates of Senate election untrustworthy. He should identify the person who offered him at least Rs 15 crore for Senate seat.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of a ceremony in Islamabad.
He urged Khan to identify the person who according to him offered at least Rs 15 crore for a Senate seat. He warned that he would tell the name of the person who offers more money than this in case Khan does not identify the person who offered him Rs 15 crore.
Rashid said that PTI chairman has turned all the candidates of the Senate election suspicious in this regard. The Senate election would be held on March 5 and the position of all the political parties would become clear, he added.
He blamed PTI’s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for horse trading saying that such illegal acts started there. He said that PTI gave tickets to the people who earn their livelihood by chopping off trees to make match sticks, destroying forests.
