Ferozewala murder: Bereaved family stages protest
Family accuses police of injustice owing to the political pressure.
FEROZEWALA (Dunya News) – Bereaved family on Monday staged a protest by blocking the road in Shahdara for not being served justice pertaining to the murder of their son.
Babar, resident of Ferozewala, was targeted in the wake of a feud 12 days ago and succumbed to the gunshot wounds at Mayo Hospital in Lahore today. His relatives placed his body at GT Road and staged a protest blocking the road for traffic, which halted people en route to their school and workplace.
The family stated that one of their relatives had previously been murdered owing to this rivalry whereas they accused that the police were not being just because of the rumbling political pressure.
