PM Nawaz to chair high-level meeting in Karachi today
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair a high-level meeting at Governor House in Karachi.
KARACHI (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is likely to leave for Karachi today (Monday) to chair a high-level meeting to review implementation of National Action Plan against terrorism, ongoing targeted operation and Baldia Town tragedy report, Dunya News reported.
The meeting to be held at Governor House will be attended by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, Chief Minister Qaim Ali shah, DG Rangers, IG Sindh and other top officials.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will review provincial government’s measures regarding implementation of NAP.
He will be briefed on Judicial Investigation Team’s (JIT) report regarding 2012 Baldia Town factory inferno which claimed lives of more than 250 people.
The law enforcement authorities will also brief the premier regarding ongoing targeted operation in the city.
