In a letter to Indian counterpart, PM said Pakistan-India relations should be based on equality

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has written a letter on Monday to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi congratulating him and the Indian nation on India’s ‘Democracy Day’ (January 26), reported Dunya News.

In his letter, PM Nawaz Sharif has addressed the Indian PM and the nation. He has said that Pakistan wants friendship with India and that the relationship between the two nations should be based on equality. PM has stressed upon peace in the region saying that Pakistan and India should work together to alleviate poverty from both the countries.
