LAHORE (Web Desk) – Taliban believed that they have hit the ‘Achilles heel’ of Pakistan on 16 December 2014 by targeting Army Public School in Peshawar, But on 12th of January when Army Public School reopened after 26 days, they were not young students; there were warriors coming in. They had broad smiles on their faces and a shine in the eyes which was a clear message to the terrorists, “We are NOT AFRAID”.

ISPR released a song to give tribute to the martyrs of Peshawar school attack. This song is an answer to the cowards who came heavily armed to kill innocent children. Lyrics of the song are so heart touching that no one can refuse to feel the depth of this tragedy and the courage of students.

Defiant children in green uniforms and their families returned to the Army Public School in Peshawar where Army Chief General Raheel Sharif welcomed those brave little soldiers of Pakistan.

The school held a ceremony to remember the victims of the terrorist attack but classes were not expected to start until later this week.
Zahid Ayub, 16, who sustained minor wounds, said: "I am not scared, no force can stop me from going to attend my school, I will go and will tell the attackers, we are not afraid of you."
For 16-year-old Shahrukh Khan, who was shot in both legs while pretending to play dead in his school s auditorium, going back was traumatic.

"I have lost 30 of my friends, how I will sit in the empty class, how I will look to their empty benches," he told AFP before the school reopened.

At least 20 soldiers were seen at the main entry point of the Army Public School, with an airport-style security gate installed at the front. Elevated boundary walls with steel wire fencing have been put in place around Peshawar and in schools throughout the rest of the country.

The government has ordered institutions to ensure protection of the school children and audits have been carried out on hundreds of schools since 16 December.

On December 16, seven heavily armed terrorists entered the Army Public School and went from class to class, killing 141 people - 132 of them children - and injuring more than 120. All seven attackers were killed.

This song became viral on social media right after its release by ISPR.
