Federal govt announces Rs 26 billion for KP
Imran Khan’s reservations regarding expenditure on IDPs will be removed, says Pervaiz Rashid
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal government on Monday announced Rs. 26 billion for Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) government to combat terrorism, Dunya News reported.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that the reservations expressed by Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan regarding expenditure on Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) will be removed. He said that the federal government will give Rs. 26 billion to KP government for combating terrorism. He told that federal government has spent 30 billion rupees on IDPs so far.
