Chairman Hindu Council said associating pubs, liquor selling with Hindus is inappropriate
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Chairman Hindu Council and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ramesh Kumar has said that the Sindh cabinet members are owners of wineries in Karachi and tagging the pubs and liquor-selling with the Hindus of Pakistan is inappropriate.
Addressing the press conference on Sunday in Karachi, Ramesh Kumar demanded establishment of Committee for Interfaith Harmony under the supervision of Prime Minister of Pakistan. “This committee should comprise of political and religious parties.
Ramesh Kumar said that kidnappings of Hindu girls from Dehrki, Mattiari, Nawabshah and Mehran University still continue. “Security of the minorities is provincial subject after 18th amendment”, said Ramesh. He termed the murder of Christian couple in Kusoor equivalent to civil disobedience.
