PM takes notice of couple's killing in Kot Radha Kishan
The police claimed they have taken at least 53 accused in custody.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday took notice of the couple’s killing in Kot Radha Kishan and directed Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif to take strict action against the culprits, Dunya News reported.
A three-member committee formed by CM Punjab went to the crime scene to gather evidence and information. The committee is due to present its report today.
According to the details, a case of violent murder of Sajjad Masih and his wife Saima Bibi has been registered against the local culprits.
The case has been registered under Section 302, anti-terrorism sections and other sections about grave crimes.
As many as 60 persons including the employer Malik Yousaf Gujjar are nominated in the First Information Report (FIR).
The police claimed they have taken at least 53 accused in custody.
PM said that it is the responsibility of the state to provide minority citizens protection against violence and injustice.
