Six security personnel martyred, 20 terrorists killed in Orakzai clash
Orakzai and Khyber are two of Pakistan's seven semi-autonomous tribal regions.
HANGU (Web Desk) – Six security personnel embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while three others sustained injuries during clash with terrorists in Lower Orakzai Agency on Saturday morning, Dunya News reported.
As per details, terrorists surrounded a military check post in Shereen Dara area and opened fire, killing six jawans and injuring three others.
Security forces strongly retaliated and killed twenty terrorists during the clash.
Orakzai is one of Pakistan`s seven semi-autonomous tribal regions, known as the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), strung out along the Afghan border.
Separately, a seven-year-old girl got injured when a rocket hit a house in Shahu Khel area of Hangu. The house was partially damaged in the rocket attack.
However, motive behind the attack could not be ascertained.
